  2. Oman wins slew of awards at 6th Cairo International Innovation Exhibition

Muscat: Oman — represented by the Manpower Ministry — participated in The 6th Cairo International Innovation Exhibition from 24 to 26 October, with Africa innovates Logo, which comes within the framework of the ministry's efforts to support and encourage students of technical and vocational colleges in the field of innovation.

A statement by the Ministry read: “The Sultanate wins first place for tire recycling team (ORC) in Shinas Technology College and 2nd place in Elixir Soil team at Ibri Technology College within the international participations category at the 6th Cairo International Innovation Exhibition held in Egypt, October 2019 on name of Africa Innovates Logo.”

“The Ministry participated with the rubber dragon innovation by Shinas Technology College, increasing the compressive strength of concrete innovation by the Muscat Higher College of Technology and the soil elixir innovation by the Ibri Technology College.”
