Muscat: ِAn agreement to fund the refurbishing of 10 classrooms throughout the Sultanate — worth more than OMR 22,000 — was signed between Dar Al Atta’a and Mitsui E & P Middle East.
The donation agreement was signed on Sunday, 28 July 28, and is meant for the refurbishment of 10 preschool classes in the country, at a total of OMR22,157.
According to Dar Al Atta’a Association, in addition to installing new furniture in the classrooms, the donated amount will also cover the cost of purchasing books and stationery items.
The targeted classrooms are located in government schools and various Omani Women Associations throughout the country.
This decision is in line with the Association's endeavour to contribute each year for the preparation and furnishing of a number of preschool classrooms that need support.
In 2017, the Association furnished and purchased books in two preschool classes in two wilayats, the cost of which amounted to OMR4,175.
