Muscat: The Ministry of Education (MOE) has decided not to postpone the examinations despite bad weather conditions across the country.

In a statement issued on Saturday, MOE said: "The ministry would like to report that there will be no postponement of the exams and it will continue according to the previously approved schedules.”

The ministry added: "Any special cases of schools affected by rain or runoff of the valleys and if students cannot perform the examinations, the school administration will inform the ministry to apply the special measures and the implementation of tests to other dates later."
