  2. Ninth Engineering Forum at SQU Kicks off

Muscat, Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) organized a 9th Engineering forum under the patronage of Mohsen bin Mohammed al- Sheikh, Chairman of Muscat Municipality, in the presence of a group of engineers, students and academics interested in engineering.

49 projects from inside and outside the Sultanate participated in the forum, including 26 projects prepared by university students, 21 from outside the university, and 12 projects from the GCC countries, Palestine, Iraq and the Philippines.

The event will be accompanied by a series of events including a discussion session entitled Dimensions, hosting a distinguished group of speakers, in addition to youth discussion entitled "Words", and interactive workshops where visitors will make things from recycled materials, boats making contests, as well as robot making and programming. The closing evening will be held on Thursday, April 11th.
