Muscat: The Sultanate will celebrate today the Omani Teachers’ Day which is observed on February 24 every year. The cerebration reaffirms the efficient and vital role teachers play in the education field.

She also pointed to the recently announced Oman Vision 2040, which stated that education would be one of its key elements. The training programmes in 2018 amounted to 624 programmes, which reaffirmed the continued attention and care accorded to the training of teachers, she added.
