Muscat: The three-day Majors’ Fair 2018 organised by the Centre for Career Guidance at Sultan Qaboos University was opened at the Grand Hall of the University’s Cultural Centre aimed to increase the new students’ awareness about the available courses in higher studies, related skills and job potential.

It also aims to help them to prepare for a successful career path that begins by choosing the right major. Majors Fair includes stations representing 60 academic majors offered by all the nine colleges at the university.

In addition, it helps new students in choosing the right academic majors, or changing their majors as well as who are looking to transfer from one college to another. It also provides the opportunity for the students to obtain information about job market and career paths.
