The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, on Wednesday marked the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD) 2018 under the auspices of Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications.

The theme for WTISD-18, ‘Enabling the positive use of Artificial Intelligence for all”, focuses on the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its role in the implementation of the development plans.
